I have a two-door stand alone hardening freezer by Master Built. It is a year and a half old and recently has began running very loud. Its still maintains its temperature very well but is just noisy. I had a service tech out and he says the compressor is “shot”.
1. Is it typical for a compressor to be “shot” in a year and a half?
2. Can the compressor be rebuilt/repaired instead of replaced?
